However, other teams undoubtedly do. Notably, with their cap room, the aforementioned Patriots seem like a good fit. The Patriots have the space to provide Aiyuk the kind of huge, well-deserved long-term contract that he is asking for. Aiyuk can be the WR1, which they are in need of.
The Chargers might also be taken into account. Their off-season cap space purging resulted in the departure of wideouts Mike Williams and Keenan Allen. In Round 2, quarterback Justin Herbert acquired a new weapon in Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey, who fills the slot. But if Aiyuk joined Los Angeles, he would become the team’s first choice outside wide receiver (and WR1).
