Just before halftime, White scored the first female player who scored at Soccer Aid when Alessandro Del Piero increased the World XI advantage with a through pass.
The halftime entertainment featured the customary antics, with attendees urged to bounce two enormous inflatable balls around the stands prior to vocalist Tom Walker playing some traditional piano ballads.
After Defoe and Walcott were introduced at halftime, England’s performance was transformed. Goals from Defoe and businessman Steven Bartlett gave Lampard’s team its first victory in six tries.
World XI’s third goal came from a penalty converted by YouTuber Billy Wingrove, although England’s lengthy losing streak was ended by a poor Walcott effort.
